lately my car has turned into a mobile library. what with teaching two summer courses, planning for the four i’m teaching this fall, an article i’m writing and the few books i’m reading for fun, the collection just keeps growing!

do you still use real books? where do you find they accumulate the most?

today is my beautiful sister heather’s birthday. and yet today, she did something wonderful for me. you may remember not too long ago when i posted about custom library paintings. well heather, the talented artist that she is, made one for me. it is possibly the most thoughtful and meaningful gift i have ever received. and yes i am irrationally crying right now. happy birthday heather! you constantly amaze me. <3
